Aussie Shepherd in a Wildflower Field

Black, white, copper, soft gold light. The blue merle Aussie sits in three-quarter profile, head tilted slightly down, one amber eye catching the sun while the other reads almost in shadow. The merle pattern — dapples and patches and that distinctive spotted muzzle — does most of the visual work.
