Roaring Tyrannosaurus Rex in a lush prehistoric jungle with massive jaws and textured scales.
The roar is mid-bellow. Jaws cranked open, rows of yellowed teeth on full display, the head pushed forward through a wall of sun-dappled jungle leaves. Bands of red along the brow and pale blue across the spine break up the muddy browns and olives of the hide.
The composition is built around the open mouth and the eye above it, a single hot amber dot in all that texture. The background is busy but soft-focus: layered greens with little flecks of yellow light filtering through, which gives the colorist permission to keep the foliage loose while putting all the precision into the head. A detail-driven piece, not a palette-driven one.
