Black Panther on a Jungle Branch

A bold, high-saturation big cat composition. The panther itself is almost entirely black with cobalt-blue rim lighting along the shoulders and face — but it lounges across a branch covered in a riot of teal, magenta, lime, and gold dabs, set against a yellow-and-cyan jungle backdrop.

The animal stays minimal so the surrounding color can go wild. Yellow eyes with slit pupils, a small pink nose, and a few white whisker lines are the only warm notes on the cat itself. Everything else — the tropical leaves, the painted bark, the sky — is yours to push as bright as you want.

Better suited to colorists who like high-key tropical palettes and aren't afraid of a piece that's mostly one dark mass. The branch alone is a small painting.
