Mystical Griffin in a Dense Forest

Iron, ember, and a single sharp amber eye. A griffin's head and shoulders shown in profile against a foggy teal forest, with feathers transitioning from steel-blue across the face down through copper-orange around the ruff. The crest along the top of the head reads almost like flame.

The texture work is the centerpiece — overlapping feather scales across the chest, fine barbs along the crest, tiny ridges in the beak. Every surface has a different rendering treatment.

This is a longer session. Limited palette (essentially blue-green and orange, complementary), but a high line density that rewards careful hand work over fast filling. Best for colorists who like the meditative discipline of repeated similar shapes.
