Streetcar on a City Street at Sunset

The streetcar comes straight at you down the center of the frame, headlight on, tracks running back to a sun sitting flat on the horizon. Parked sedans line both curbs in silhouette. Everything in the upper half is sky — coral fading to amber — and the lower half is the wet street reflecting it back, brake lights and all.

The whole image is built on symmetry and reflection. Get the sky right and the puddle below it almost colors itself. Better suited to colorists who like atmosphere and mood over fiddly detail.
