Folk Art Rabbit with Mixed Flowers
Brown rabbit framed by bold blossoms and decorative botanical patterns.
Folk art first, rabbit second. The hare sits in profile against a deep teal ground, but the body has been opened up like a piece of embroidery — orange and cream poppies, daisies, tiny tulips, and curling leaves bloom directly out of the fur. Scrolling ornamental corners frame the page like a Slavic textile panel.
The flower-on-fur trick means there are really two design problems stacked: realistic warm-brown rabbit on the head and chest, decorative flat-color folk pattern in the body. Treat them as separate palettes and the piece sings.
Good for colorists who like pattern work and don't mind committing to a long, careful pass over many small petals.
