Snowman in a Red Knit Hat and Scarf

A cheerful snowman beams right at the viewer in extreme close-up, two shiny black coal eyes and a bright orange carrot nose set in a round snowy face. His twig smile curves up at the corners, soft pink blush spots warm his cheeks, and his whole head glows with that fresh fallen snow look. A thick ribbed knit beanie in deep red sits snug on his head, dusted with little snowflakes and highlights of pale pink and lavender where the winter light catches the yarn. A chunky plaid scarf in red and dark teal wraps his neck, flecked with crumbs of snow caught in the weave.

Behind him, a soft blue winter sky dissolves into gentle painterly brushwork. A classic Christmas palette built on crisp snowy white and cool blue against saturated cherry red and pine green, with warm orange carrot and rosy pink cheeks as accent pops. Bold rounded shapes and clean color boundaries make for a satisfying color-blocking session, with big simple fields on the face and background for fast blocking and plenty of finer detail moments in the knit stitches, scarf plaid, coal eyes, and dusting of snowflakes to finish on.
